The TRIM Reference Object allows information to be shared on a broad scale within an organization in a timesaving fashion that has minimal impact on messaging systems. It operates in a similar way to a shortcut whereby users can create a reference to any document or object in TRIM and then use the shortcut as a pointer within a mail message. Any user with appropriate access is able to access the document or object directly from the reference object.
